Beth & I were together last weekend planning out the weekend.

Friday night we have a room reserved at the hotel so we can have games, snacks, & catch up etc.... If people are planning on getting up there early we can organize a place for dinner.
Saturday Barb & Jim have opened up their cabin so we can be at the lake, have lunch, play games, and depending upon the weather we can use the jet ski and paddle boat. On Saturday night for dinner we have a room reserved at the hotel. We are putting together a Holte family triva game & a video of family photo's. This is a great time to share family memories.
Sunday we are having a service at the hotel and depending upon when people have to leave we can head to Barb & Jims again for more Holte family fun!
I have been on Ancestory.com this past year and have started a family tree. Grandma was holding out on us. It seems the Hardin family were quite the settlers with alot of family history! I feel like I have been doing "who do you think you are"? on a much smaller scale! :-)
Beth & I are putting together a family video of photo's and need everyones help. When we get the email address of where to send photo's we will let everyone know, we need everyone to send old and updated family photo's.
So far all the Bragg's will all be up there AND Cindy, Ron, Wayne & Grace will be there too! We hope everyone can make it, I think it will be a great weekend!!!
We are excited for the weekend so if anyone has any suggestions or input we would love them!

I have a Holte Bible that Uncle Albert gave to me that has all the birth dates of Oliver's brothers and sisters. I will bring the Bible when I come and if you want the info before I will email it to you.

Janet, I am so glad you have some information on the Holte side. I was having a bit of difficult researching the Holte's in Norway, but birth dates will help! I look forward to seeing it at the reunion.

ReplyDeleteIf you have time that would be great, but don't worry if you don't have time. I have been having so much fun digging around and researching the Hardin history! I didn't get very far on the Holte side, it seems the Norweigians are harder to track without much information so the dates will be a big help!
